These answers use the wording already published on the Udo's Choice product pages at Inspired Health. They do not add claims, doses or advice that those pages do not already state.
What does Udo's mean by microbiotic?
The product pages say microbiotic is what Udo's calls these products, and that shoppers may know them as probiotics. The pages also state there are no authorised UK health claims for live bacteria, so the bacteria are described by composition rather than by a benefit.
Next: sourcing, standards and FAQs, or the microbiotic collection.
Oil or capsules?
The Ultimate Oil Blend pages say both formats use the same cold-pressed organic seed oil. A 30ml serving of the oil is stated as 11g of ALA. Two capsules are stated as 0.8g of ALA. The oil is refrigerated and is not for cooking. The capsules do not need refrigeration.
Next: formats and ingredients, the oil, or the capsules.
Which label matches which age?
The labels already name the age group. Babies & Toddler's Blend is a powder for children up to five. Children's Blend starts at 5. Adult's Blend is for adults aged 15 and over. Super 8 Gold says adult use only and is not suitable for children. Super 5's lozenges say suitable for adults and children.
Next: what the products are and how the labels say to take them.
Do the enzyme products make a health claim?
The enzyme pages state there are no authorised UK health claims for digestive enzymes, so those pages give composition and FCC activity instead of a benefit claim.
Next: Digestive Enzyme Blend or Enzymes Gold.
This is a food supplement range. The product pages say food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle, and not to exceed the recommended daily intake.
