Why capsules
The reason most people abandon an omega oil is not the oil. It is the routine around it — remembering the bottle is in the fridge, measuring a tablespoon before work, taking it on holiday, tasting it.
Capsules remove all of that. Two a day, from a jar that lives in a bag or a desk drawer, with nothing to measure and nothing to taste. It is the same cold-pressed organic seed oil; the difference is entirely in how easy it is to keep going.
High in omega-3
Alpha-linolenic acid is an essential fatty acid — your body cannot make it, so it has to come from food. Two capsules provide 0.8g of it, which is enough for these to qualify as high in omega-3 fatty acids: a regulated nutrition claim with a defined threshold, not a marketing phrase.
It is also entirely plant-derived, which fish oil is not.
Capsules or the oil?
Same blend, two formats, suiting different habits.

The oil is the option if a large daily quantity is what you are after. These are the option if a habit you will actually maintain is what you are after. A lot of people keep the oil at home and a jar of capsules in a bag.
What is in the oil
The blend is built on cold-pressed organic flax, sunflower and sesame seed oils, with small additions of virgin coconut, evening primrose, rice bran and oat bran oils. Flax supplies the omega-3; the others set the ratio and round out the profile.
In the bottle that blend is 38g omega-3 per 100ml against 19g omega-6 — a 2:1 ratio. The capsules contain the same oil.
Where it is made
Manufactured in Canada by Flora Manufacturing & Distributing in Burnaby, British Columbia, using a seed oil blend sourced from the USA. Imported and distributed in the UK by Savant Distribution, Leeds.
How to take them
Two capsules daily, with or without food. That is the serving the nutrition panel is based on.
Store in a cool, dry place — no refrigeration needed. The capsule shell does the job the amber glass bottle does for the oil: it keeps light and oxygen away from the contents.
Common questions
Do they need refrigerating?
No. That is the main practical reason to choose them over the oil.
Do they taste of anything?
No — which is the other main reason.
Is it the same oil that is in the bottle?
Yes. Same cold-pressed organic seed oil blend, encapsulated.
Are they suitable for vegans?
Yes. The oil is entirely plant-derived, unlike fish oil capsules.
60, 90 or 180?
Same capsules. At two a day the 60 is a month, the 90 six weeks and the 180 three months. The larger jars cost less per capsule.
Can I take them alongside a fish oil?
Yes. They supply ALA; marine oils supply EPA and DHA. Some people take both.
Why does the omega-9 figure say "less than"?
Omega-9 is present but varies naturally between batches of seed oil, so the label declares it conservatively rather than quoting a figure it cannot guarantee.
